Mark J. Vierling received his Juris Doctor Cum Laude from the William Mitchell College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mark joined the firm as an associate in 1978 and has been a partner since 1980.
Mark is a general practitioner, with concentrations in civil litigation, family and juvenile law, municipal land use zoning, and wills and estates. Mark serves as municipal counsel for several Washington County communities as well as other public organizations. Mark is a Qualified Neutral for Alternate Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Arbitration and other ADR methods. He is also a Qualified Neutral for Alternative Dispute Resolution in family law matters.
Mark is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He was selected by his peers as Super Lawyer in 2000-2006 in Minnesota Law and Politics and Mpls/St. Paul Magazine. This designation is strictly limited to no more than 5% of the members of those practicing law in Minnesota.
Mark grew up in West St. Paul. He is married with four children and lives in the St. Croix Valley.
