Dan Bakken is a native of western Minnesota. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2000 with a bachelors degree in Political Science with highest honors. Dan completed his juris doctor at the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2005, and graduated with distinction. Dan joined Eckberg Lammers in 2009 after working as an associate at the Duluth law firm of Fryberger, Buchanan, Smith & Frederick, P.A., where his practice focused on civil litigation, family law and debtor/creditor law.
At Eckberg Lammers, Dan's practice focuses on litigation primarily in matters relating to assisting lenders, businesses and other creditors with collection of problem loans or accounts.
Dan is licensed in both Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dan is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Dan and his wife Emily are excited to return the Twin Cities where they lived prior to Dan attending law school.
